The Pacific Room has a comfortable queen-size bed and a Japanese tansu or chest. An antique obi decoratively spans the width of the room. The Bay Room and Pacific Room are virtual mirror-images of each other. Each has a vaulted ceiling and an entryway with its bathroom off that entryway. The rooms differ in artwork and decor. Both rooms overlook the Bishop pine forest native to coastal West Marin. They are on the same floor as the front entry and commons area and guests share a deck.
There is no cellphone reception nor televisions, adding to the tranquility of your stay. A guest telephone is provided in the commons area so that you can stay in touch. Free wireless Internet connection is also provided. A small refrigerator is provided in each room. Small tables allow you to either eat breakfast in your room or on our guest deck.
The inn has the rustic elegance of a Japanese farmhouse, with the modern conveniences of central heating, good reading lamps, and Internet access. Original artwork and ikebana by Nancy Beck grace the inn.
A convenient table and comfortable chairs allow you to write, read or just relax while looking out at the mysterious Bishop pine forest.
