The Pacific Room

Book now
The Pacific Room has a comfortable queen-size bed and a Japanese tansu or chest. An antique obi decoratively spans the width of the room. The Pacific Room also has generous closet space, plenty of hooks, large mirrors and a terrific view out the window. A private bathroom with a tub & shower combination is stocked with organic bath amenities by EO Products from Corte Madera.

The Bay Room and Pacific Room are virtual mirror-images of each other. Each has a vaulted ceiling and an entryway with its bathroom off that entryway. The rooms differ in artwork and decor. Both rooms overlook the Bishop pine forest native to coastal West Marin. They are on the same floor as the front entry and commons area and guests share a deck.

There is no cellphone reception nor televisions, adding to the tranquility of your stay. A guest telephone is provided in the commons area so that you can stay in touch. Free wireless Internet connection is also provided.

The inn has the rustic elegance of a Japanese farmhouse, with the modern conveniences of central heating, good reading lamps, and Internet access. Original artwork and ikebana by Nancy Beck grace the inn.

A convenient table and comfortable chairs allow you to write, read or just relax while looking out at the mysterious Bishop pine forest.

Rates: $249/night for a stay of two nights. Stays of three or more consecutive nights receive a 15% discount - every day including weekends and holidays. That discounted rate is $212/night. And if you forget to add the discount, we automatically give it to you when we run your charge.

Included in that rate: California wines and local cheeses in the afternoon and full organic breakfast each morning.
